The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates
is written in three parts and in eight chapters.
Each part of the book opens with a piece of conversation from the author's visits with Wes Moore at the Jessup Correctional Institution in Maryland.
The author explained: "The book is broken up into eight chapters, corresponding to the eight years that had a decisive impact on our respective lives. The three parts represent the three major phases in our coming of age" (Moore, 2010, p. xiv).
